Kin Theory strategist Michelle Hurtubise will be presenting her paper 

“Co-liberation joy, potential futures for solidarity and sovereignty in BIPOC filmmaking” at the 24^th Annual Film Studies Association of Canada Graduate Colloquium, co-hosted by the University of Toronto and York University. This paper is based on the vibrant conversation held during a virtual Kin Theory event at Seattle International Film Festival in 2021, moderated by Tracy Rector. This will be a virtual event.
